InvestorStack is a fintech platform where I serve as CTO — engineering the systems and automation that make smarter investing accessible to more people. It’s a complex domain that demands precision, security, and reliability.

The Challenge

Investing has traditionally been gatekept by complexity — jargon-filled interfaces, expensive advisory services, and tools designed for professionals, not everyday investors. InvestorStack aims to democratize access to sophisticated investment tools.

Technical Architecture

As CTO, I designed the platform with several key principles:

Security First — financial data requires enterprise-grade security. We implement encryption at rest and in transit, multi-factor authentication, and regular security audits.

Real-Time Processing — market data needs to flow instantly. We use event-driven architecture with message queues to handle thousands of updates per second.

Scalability — the platform is built to handle market volatility spikes without degradation. Auto-scaling infrastructure ensures consistent performance during high-traffic periods.

Tech Stack

What I’ve Learned

Fintech taught me that technical excellence isn’t optional — it’s existential. A bug in a social app is annoying; a bug in a financial platform can cost people money. Every line of code carries responsibility.
